Greenfield commission approves LongHorn Steakhouse plan on Hancock Health land; site eligible for tax-increment financing

On 2026-10-16 the Greenfield Advisory Plan Commission approved a development plan for a LongHorn Steakhouse at the 1800 block of North State Street, calling for a 5,780-square-foot building and 130 parking spaces, the Greenfield Daily Reporter reported. The parcel, owned by Hancock Health, was earlier designated an economic development area allowing tax-increment financing; the report gave no construction or opening dates.
