The Zionsville Lions Club launched a $2.6 million capital campaign at its Sept. 11–13, 2026 Fall Festival to fund improvements to Lions Park and development of five new acres on the property. Club leaders said about $1.3 million has been raised so far.

Organizers said roughly $1.6 million of the total is earmarked for park upgrades, while $1 million will be placed in a legacy fund at the Community Foundation of Boone County; the club estimates that fund will earn about $40,000 a year to cover regular park maintenance.
