BusinessIndy collects only the information needed to operate the publication and its services.

Information collected

Newsletter subscribers provide an email address. Standard analytics may collect device, browser and general usage information. Advertising or payment providers may process information under their own policies.

BusinessIndy Daily

We use Brevo to host our signup form, record subscription confirmation and deliver our newsletter. Your email address and subscription activity are processed by Brevo for these purposes. You must click the confirmation link before joining the subscriber list. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request help at privacy@businessindy.com. Reader comments

Commenting requires sign-in. We store an account identifier, your chosen display name, comment, moderation decisions, appeals and reports. Approved comments show your display name and text publicly, never your sign-in email. Comment text and display names are sent to OpenAI for automated moderation. Editors review uncertain cases. You can withdraw a comment; moderation records remain for abuse prevention and appeals. Contact us for privacy or deletion requests.

How information is used

Information is used to deliver requested communications, understand readership, improve the site and protect against abuse. BusinessIndy does not sell subscriber email addresses.

Google Analytics

BusinessIndy uses Google Analytics to understand readership, including page views, visits, device and browser information, referral sources, scrolling and link interactions. Your choices
