Henry Community Health to open Oct. 5 sick-child walk-in clinic at Northfield Park, expanding same-day pediatric services

Henry Community Health announced on September 8, 2026 that it will open a Sick Child Walk-In Clinic on October 5, 2026 at Pediatrics at New Castle Family and Internal Medicine at Northfield Park. The clinic will operate Monday–Friday, 8:00–11:30 a.m., and is available to established pediatric patients only.

Noblesville council annexes land for two housing developments, advances $150K for Finch Creek Park tunnel design

At its Aug. 25 meeting the Noblesville Common Council approved two super‑voluntary annexations totaling about 159 acres for the Encore at Linden Walk (210-unit 55+ community) and Parks at Crossroads (324 homes). The council also approved $150,000 for engineering design of a pedestrian tunnel to Finch Creek Park and vacated an alley strip to allow Mill Top to install a fire service vault.

State Police Seize $3.8M in Cocaine During I-70 Traffic Stop

Indiana State Police stopped an eastbound commercial truck on I-70 in Putnam County on Sept. 6, discovered about 277 pounds (126 kg) of cocaine worth roughly $3.8 million in five duffel bags and impounded the vehicle; driver Harpreet Singh of Greenwood was arrested and faces preliminary narcotics charges. Officials credited the bust to the state's expanded highway interdiction efforts.

Carmel-based Dreyer & Reinbold signs Conor Daly, returns to full-time IndyCar with Honda engines in 2027

Dreyer & Reinbold Racing announced Sept. 5, 2026 that Conor Daly has signed a multi‑year deal to drive the team’s No. 24 car full time beginning in the 2027 NTT INDYCAR Series season. The team also said it will run Honda engines and return to full‑time competition for the first time since 2012.
