Kincaid’s Meat Market began operating in June at 2159 Glebe St. Co-owners Joseph and Jonathan Dugdale expanded the business into WestClay after previously operating in Indianapolis and Fishers. The new store stocks fresh meats including USDA Prime filet and a range of premium beef selections, alongside imported cheeses, pastas and items from local vendors such as Angelo Italian Market, Heidi Ho Baked Goods and B’s Bagels. Hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Sunday.
The owners emphasize customized cutting and packaging options for customers and said demand has prompted a plan to begin offering made-to-order sandwiches the week after Labor Day. Joseph Dugdale said the WestClay site had been a target for expansion for years and fills a neighborhood gap the business identified.
