Amcor said it earned two 2026 Tube of the Year Awards from the Tube Council of North America for packaging created with Ocean Potion and Every Man Jack. The company reported its work was recognized in two program categories — Pharmaceutical and Personal Care — and highlighted Ocean Potion’s decorative SPF tube and Every Man Jack’s 45% post-consumer recycled-content white laminate tube. Amcor described the projects as examples of packaging reinforcing brand identity while meeting sustainability and print-quality goals.
Amcor announced that its PP Revolution™ dip cups were honored by the U.S. Plastics Pact in the Recyclability category. Amcor said the polypropylene cups are designed for recyclability, are available in sizes from 0.5 to 2.0oz, run on existing filling equipment with no capital modifications, and can scale in as little as six weeks. The company reported a 70% reduction in carbon footprint and 63% reduction in non-renewable energy versus the PVdC coated HIPS baseline, per its lifecycle analysis.
Amcor said it developed a bespoke bicolor flip-top closure for Spanish sauce brand Choví, now used across Choví’s salad, barbecue and snack sauce range. The bi-injection polypropylene closure incorporates a silicon valve to control sauce flow, has a curved shape for shelf differentiation, and was produced in Amcor’s Spanish facility. Amcor stated the design improves robustness and consumer ease of use and that Choví selected Amcor based on its closures reputation and local manufacturing capabilities.
Amcor announced a strategic collaboration with Dow to help brands and retailers accelerate adoption of low‑carbon packaging solutions. The partnership combines Amcor’s packaging innovation, manufacturing expertise and global reach with Dow’s low‑carbon polyethylene and materials science. Together they will identify technically and commercially viable applications, engage value‑chain partners early, and provide carbon footprint information using the Carbon Footprint Ledger aligned with ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol Product Standard, enabling clearer evaluation of low‑carbon packaging options.
