Bowen Health announces the opening of a community garden at Bowen Health – Bremen (1120 W South St., Bremen, IN 46506). The garden, free and open to anyone in Bremen and surrounding areas, supplies fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost and offers opportunities to learn gardening and connect with nature. Bowen Health says the Bremen garden is one of three community garden projects across its 22-county service area developed with local partners in response to community requests.
Bowen Health says it opened a community garden at its Wabash location as a free resource for anyone in Wabash and surrounding communities, offering access to fresh fruits and vegetables. The Wabash garden is described as the first of three current community gardens across Bowen Health’s 22-county service area. Bowen Health reports the garden was created in partnership with the Purdue Extension Master Gardeners and will remain at the previous address (255 North Miami St.) while clinical services relocate to 1649 Bowen Dr. on November 2, 2026.
Bowen Health says it opened a community garden behind its Huntington location at 2860 Northpark Ave to provide residents with an accessible source of homegrown produce. The Huntington garden is one of three publicly available community gardens across Bowen Health’s 22-county service area. Bowen Health states the gardens aim to address food insecurity—citing Feeding America data that 5,700 people (15.5%) in Huntington County experience food insecurity—and to foster community connection and integrated mind-body care.
Bowen Health announced that Dr. Anna Koon, DDS, will launch dental services at its Huntington location and that Patricia Ezeakudo, FNP-C, has joined the Huntington primary care team. According to Bowen Health, both providers joined the organization last week and will soon begin seeing patients. The organization said the additions expand access to whole-person care in Huntington by adding dental services and strengthening primary care capacity, supporting coordinated, preventive, and ongoing health management for local patients.
