Corteva, Inc. announced that it and Inari have reached a confidential settlement resolving the lawsuit filed by Corteva in September 2023 that was pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Corteva said Inari agreed to destroy Corteva material accessed from seed depositories and material developed from those deposits, assign to Corteva the intellectual property related to its edited versions of Corteva events, and negotiate certain licensing arrangements; other terms remain confidential.
Corteva announced that the SEC has declared effective Vylor’s Registration Statement on Form 10. The filing describes Vylor’s business, strategy and the planned separation into an independent, publicly traded company expected to be completed October 1, 2026. Corteva said each stockholder of record as of September 24, 2026 will receive one share of Vylor common stock per Corteva share, with the distribution expected prior to 9:30 a.m. New York time on October 1, 2026. Vylor is expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbol “VYLR.”
Corteva said Vylor — the advanced seed and genetics company that will spin off from Corteva on October 1, 2026 — and Belgium-based Rainbow Crops have announced a collaboration to accelerate development of corn hybrids using Rainbow Crops’ AI-supported Trait Foundry and multiplex gene editing. The companies said the work targets resilience to heat, drought and floods, aims to improve input efficiency and increase yield, and follows Corteva’s participation in Rainbow Crops’ €9.7 million seed financing round.
Corteva announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Globachem to form a 50/50 joint venture to develop and commercialize new formulated crop protection solutions for farmers in Europe and the Americas. The independently operated JV will leverage late-pipeline to commercial-stage technologies from both companies, may commercialize products through one or both parents, is expected to close in Q4 2026 subject to approvals, and anticipates new solution launches in the early 2030s, Corteva stated.
