Hancock Health announced that Hancock Regional Hospital was named to Newsweek’s America’s Best-in-State Hospitals list for 2027. The recognition, produced by Newsweek in partnership with global data firm Statista, evaluates hospitals on measures including hospital quality, patient experience, professional recommendations and patient-reported outcomes. Hancock Health said the honor reflects its commitment to high-quality, compassionate care across Hancock County and East Central Indiana and quoted President and CEO Steve Long praising staff dedication to patient safety and quality.
Hancock Health said leaders from CMS and the Small Business Administration visited its New Palestine wellness center on September 3 for an event about CHOICE Arrangements. The health system reported discussions with employers and insurers about its employee health benefits approach.
