Hoosier Energy reports that Logan Englert was named the latest recipient of the Daniel L. Schuckman and W. Eugene Roberts Memorial Scholarship. Englert, a 2020 Forest Park High School graduate from Ferdinand in Dubois REC territory, graduated from the North American Lineman Training Center in mid‑August after a 13‑week program. Company colleagues and family friends Greg Dooley and Corey Berg, who work for Hoosier Energy, helped inform his decision to pursue line work, which he describes as challenging and enjoyable.
Hoosier Energy reported that its member cooperatives awarded more than $100,000 in college scholarships for the second consecutive year, with a total of 94 student recipients. Many of the scholarships were funded by Operation Round Up, which lets cooperative members voluntarily round up their electric bills to support charitable, educational and youth programs. The company listed recipients and award amounts from multiple member cooperatives across its service area.
Hoosier Energy reported that its Spring 2026 member education and engagement campaign (late March to mid-May) delivered 29.7 million impressions. The company said the multi-platform effort — targeting audiences under 45 and running customized co-op creative — produced 17.3 million Facebook impressions (over 31,000 clicks), 3.3 million YouTube impressions with a 57.2% completed-view rate, 2.3 million streaming-audio impressions and 6.6 million digital-display impressions (8,128 clicks). Hoosier Energy characterized the results as exceeding expectations.
