KV REMC Recaps Member Appreciation Day and Annual Meeting

According to Kankakee Valley REMC, the cooperative hosted its Member Appreciation Day and Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, September 24, at the Porter County Fairgrounds. Members voted in director elections (District 4: Brad Hazelton; At-Large: Russell Guse) and received a $5 bill credit for voting. The event included a meal, entertainment, family activities, prize drawings (grand prize $2,000 to Lisa Pajkos-Winamac), and recognition of the 2025–2026 Junior Board of Directors and cooperative initiative updates.
