INDYCAR drivers extending seasons by competing at Petit Le Mans Oct. 1–3
INDYCAR and INDY NXT drivers are adding sports-car entries for Motul Petit Le Mans, the season-ending IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event set for Oct. 1–3 at Road Atlanta. The announcement names multiple entrants including Scott Dixon and Alex Palou in GTP prototypes and lists broadcast times for the 10-hour race.

INDYCAR said on Oct. 1, 2026 that series drivers are extending their seasons by racing in Motul Petit Le Mans Oct. 1–3 at Road Atlanta. The release lists Scott Dixon and Alex Palou as teammates in GTP for Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian — Dixon in the No. 60 with Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun; Palou in the No. 93 with Nick Yelloly and Renger van der Zande — and notes practice lap times that showed Yelloly fastest (1:11.506) and Braun a close second (1:11.509).
