The Greenfield Daily Reporter reported that Hancock County Democrats opened a permanent headquarters at 305 N. State St., holding grand‑opening events Sept. 25–26, 2026 that included a tour of the building and a community lunch. Party chair Linda Genrich said establishing a new home base fulfilled a major goal; Jeff McClarnon offered the building and will keep an office there while winding down his career.
Genrich said the headquarters provides a central location for meetings and for people to pick up campaign signs. The party plans to host smaller meetings and Election Night watch parties at the new space, while continuing to reserve the Buck Creek Township Community Room for its monthly county party meetings. The party previously had headquarters at 16 N. State St. in the 1960s and 1970s.
