Eastside entrepreneur launches On The Bun hot-dog cart in Indianapolis after securing $15,000 small-business loan

On Sept. 24, 2026, Seth Callagy opened On The Bun, launching a mobile hot-dog cart after years of food-service work and frequent plasma donations to supplement income. With mentoring from Jim Thompson of SCORE Indiana and a 75-page business plan, Callagy bought a cart and payment system (about $7,000), put in $4,000 of his own money and secured a $15,000 small-business loan to start operations.
