WISH-TV reported that the City of Indianapolis’ Office of Minority and Women Business Development (OMWBD) will hold a year‑end forum on December 3, 2026, at the Indianapolis Public Library’s downtown main branch. OMWBD, which administers certification for minority, women, veteran and disability‑owned firms and offers training and navigation help for small‑business owners, says the event will bring together city agencies and community partners, review the past year, discuss projects and opportunities for the coming year and end with networking.
The station said the city’s disparity study is nearing completion and will be made public after the mayor finishes his review; recommendations tied to that study are expected to be introduced later in the fall and into the winter. Registration for the December 3 forum is expected to open in early November 2026.
