Indianapolis launches free zoning case viewer to track data center and other development proposals
WISH-TV reports the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development launched a free, searchable zoning case viewer that lets residents look up development proposals — including data centers, gas stations and requests to convert houses to commercial use — by case number, address or area to find project details and upcoming hearings.

WISH-TV reports the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) launched a free zoning case viewer that provides up-to-date information on property changes and neighborhood projects. The tool lets users search by case number, address or general area to find project details and upcoming public hearings.
According to WISH-TV, the viewer can show rezone and variance cases and property-change requests such as converting a house into a commercial business. DMD officials quoted in the story said the viewer "was built to be intuitive and easy to use." Logan Lane is identified as DMD’s long-range administrator and Trena Roudebush as the department’s chief communications officer.
