Givaudan to build $215M liquid-production plant on Indiana–Ohio border, plans 250+ jobs
Givaudan bought land in West Harrison, Ind., for a planned $215 million, 258,000-square-foot liquid-production facility the company said will bring more than 250 jobs to the greater Cincinnati area. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, with partial operations expected in 2028.
Givaudan, a Switzerland-based flavor and fragrance maker, purchased land in West Harrison, Indiana, for a planned $215 million liquid-production plant. The company said the 258,000-square-foot site on the Indiana–Ohio border is intended to increase its capacity for liquid products and support closer collaboration with food and beverage customers, and that the project will create more than 250 jobs for the greater Cincinnati area.
Givaudan said construction is scheduled to begin in 2026 and partial operations are expected to start in 2028. The company is coordinating the project with Dearborn County officials, the Indiana Economic Development Corp., One Dearborn Economic Development and REDI Cincinnati, and it is working with local partners to identify workers while arranging to transfer its former Reading, Ohio property for other economic development uses.
