Indianapolis-area Priority Physicians helps form physician-owned LegacyMD platform, set to open Fishers flagship
LegacyMD announced its launch as a majority physician-owned platform combining Priority Physicians of Greater Indianapolis with Long Island’s HealthBridge; the group says it will cover 21 physicians at four locations and open flagship offices in Fishers, Indiana, and Lake Success, New York by the end of 2026.
LegacyMD formed as a majority physician- and employee-owned platform for concierge and direct primary care, combining Priority Physicians of Greater Indianapolis with HealthBridge Personalized Medicine. The announcement says the combined practices will include 21 physicians across four locations by the end of 2026 and will establish new flagship offices in Fishers, Indiana, and Lake Success, New York.
The new platform, founded by Priority Physicians’ leadership and led by CEO Matthew Priddy, will allow participating practices to keep their local brands, clinical decision-making and leadership while receiving centralized HR, IT, finance and growth support. Governance will include a physicians’ council chaired by Dr. Priddy. The formation and HealthBridge acquisition were backed by committed credit facilities from OakNorth, and LegacyMD says it will offer equity opportunities to employed physicians and is seeking additional partnerships.
