Dress for Success Indianapolis is preparing for its annual Stepping Out in Style fundraiser on Sept. 25, 2026; the event is sold out with about 1,300 people expected to attend. The evening will include a fashion show featuring local designers, a diamond dig, wine and spirit pool, a raffle and community vendors, organizers said.
The organization provides professional clothing, resume and interview help, LinkedIn support and ongoing professional development for women preparing to enter or advance in the workforce. Since 1999 Dress for Success Indianapolis has supported more than 21,000 women in Central Indiana. The group accepts financial and clothing donations (drop-offs at 820 N. Meridian St. and participating Indianapolis dry cleaners), volunteers and mentors, and is planning a 25th-anniversary rollout beginning January 2027 and continuing through fall 2027.
