Colts to debut Anvil Strike uniforms Sept. 27; Pro Shop and Lucas Oil Stadium to offer new merchandise and giveaway
The Indianapolis Colts will wear their Anvil Strike alternate uniforms for the first time during the Sept. 27, 2026 matchup vs. the Houston Texans. The Colts Pro Shop will sell the collection Sept. 25–26, 2026 and gear will be available at Lucas Oil Stadium on game day; the first 50,000 fans through the gates will receive a giveaway.
The Colts will debut the gray “Anvil Strike” alternate uniform during their Sept. 27, 2026 matchup against the Houston Texans, featuring a silver metallic horseshoe and a blue helmet. Hayden Barnack, the team’s director of marketing, told WISH-TV the project was developed over two years with Nike and the NFL as part of the Nike X Series.
Colts cheerleaders and mascot Blue will wear matching Anvil Strike gear; cheerleaders’ outfits will reintroduce chaps. Former Colts tight end Jack Doyle is scheduled to perform the ceremonial anvil strike before the 1 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 27, 2026. The Colts’ Friday Night Football Tour will feature Brownsburg vs. Westfield on Sept. 25, 2026, a game team officials expect will draw more than 7,500 fans. The Colts Pro Shop is open Sept. 25–26, 2026, and merchandise will be sold at the stadium on game day.
