Central Indiana students lead High School Hustle; Zionsville grad’s lawncare business tops $100,000

More than half of the top student entrepreneurs in the 2026 High School Hustle competition came from central Indiana, with top performers from Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers and Brownsburg, according to reporting by Current Publishing.
The highest earner was Zionsville Community High School graduate Cruz Weidner, who made more than $100,000 over the summer through landscaping work operating Weidner Lawncape. The competition’s executive director said this was the first time in the program’s three-year history a student cleared $100,000.
