Colts, American Family Insurance hold 8th annual School Uniform Blitz for 545 Central Elementary students
The Indianapolis Colts and American Family Insurance delivered a personalized School Uniform Blitz at Central Elementary School in MSD of Pike Township, providing new uniforms, Colts gear, hygiene kits and a donated washer/dryer to help 545 students prepare for the school year.
The Colts and American Family Insurance teamed for the 8th annual School Uniform Blitz at Central Elementary School, offering a personalized shopping experience that served 545 students. Items distributed included school uniforms, socks, Colts-branded gear, water bottles, hats, hygiene kits and a washer/dryer unit plus a year’s worth of laundry detergent. Several Colts players — including Quenton Nelson, Luke Tenuta and Spencer Shrader — and members of the tight end group participated, and Colts Owner & Chief Brand Officer Kalen Jackson made an appearance.
American Family Insurance has been the event partner for six years, and company and Colts representatives said the program has expanded in size and scope since it began, adding hygiene items and increasing volunteer involvement. Colts director of community impact Ande Sadtler described the goal as ensuring clothing does not create a barrier to school success.
