Magnera describes its HighPleat™ platform as a lofted pleated filtration media for MERV 8–10 applications that increases media loft and optimizes pore architecture to improve airflow and contaminant storage. The company states internal testing showed mean pore size 15–20% larger than conventional alternatives and that customer evaluations demonstrated increased dirt-holding capacity and extended service intervals. Magnera invites attendees to meet its team at FiltXPO™ on October 28–29 in Minneapolis (Booth 527).
Magnera said it entered a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory to evaluate battery-separator technology using its OmniSep platform. The company described potential applications in defense, critical infrastructure and commercial energy storage. The release concerns a research collaboration and does not announce an Indiana facility project.
Magnera announced the successful installation and commissioning of a new five-layer blown film production line at its Dombühl, Germany manufacturing site. According to the company, the line expands capabilities in lightweight and elastic films for personal care and healthcare, enhances manufacturing flexibility and process efficiency, and supports tailored film structures and product development. Commissioning began in August 2026 and Magnera expects commercial production to start in October 2026. The company also showcased the new platform at EDANA’s annual Outlook Conference.
