Meijer to open 75,000‑sq‑ft Fishers grocery store Sept. 30; second Meijer Grocery format in Indiana
Meijer announced Aug. 10, 2026 that it will open a 75,000-square-foot Meijer Grocery store at 15700 Southeastern Parkway in Fishers on Sept. 30, 2026, and that an adjacent Meijer Express fuel station will open Sept. 2, 2026. The site will be Meijer’s second Grocery-format store in Indiana and its 45th state store.

Meijer said the Fishers location will focus on fresh foods and grocery staples and include departments such as bakery, meat, seafood, deli, floral and greeting cards, pharmacy, health and beauty, and pet supplies. The retailer also plans digital shopping tools—Shop & Scan, Home Delivery and Pickup—and highlighted its mPerks loyalty program.
The company noted there are still hourly, part-time and full-time job openings for the Fishers store and directed applicants to jobs.meijer.com/stores. Meijer said it has operated in Indiana since 1994 and employs more than 13,000 team members statewide; the Fishers Grocery will be the company’s 45th store in the state.
