Family Express to operate Leo’s Market & Eatery locations in Indianapolis area; Leo’s to focus on food

Reported by the Greenfield Daily Reporter, Leo’s Market & Eatery said on 2026-10-05 that it has entered a partnership with Family Express. Family Express will assume operations of Leo’s locations in suburban Indianapolis and Lafayette later this fall, subject to customary closing conditions.
Leo’s owners Stephanie White-Longworth and Keith White said the company will continue operating its Central Commissary to supply kolaches to the transitioning locations and to Family Express’ stores, and will place greater focus on expanding Leo’s food program, catering and developing Leo’s Eatery as a standalone, food-focused concept. Family Express, led by president and CEO Gus Olympidis, operates more than 90 stores in Northwest and Central Indiana and was founded in Valparaiso in 1975; Olympidis said the chain looks forward to introducing Leo’s signature food to more customers across Indiana.
