WISH-TV reports Ikea in Fishers will celebrate the local launch of YXSTABY, a nine-piece gaming furniture collection created in collaboration with Xbox. The store plans a public event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 11400 Ikea Way, northeast of the I‑69 interchange for 106th Street.

The YXSTABY collection incorporates the X, Y, B and A button motif from Xbox controllers and is inspired by a small locality in Sweden. WISH-TV describes Ikea as a Sweden-based retailer that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories; the weekend celebration will include several family-friendly activities.

WHY IT MATTERS

This report describes a local retail launch and an in-store event at the Ikea Fishers location that shoppers can attend in person. The announcement matters to residents who plan store visits and to local retail observers because it signals a branded product rollout being presented directly to customers in the Fishers store.

YXSTABY is the name given to the nine-piece furniture collection created with Xbox; the article says the line uses the familiar X/Y/B/A letter motif from Xbox controllers and that the name is inspired by a small locality in Sweden. If you want to see the collection in person, the store scheduled a public celebration with family-friendly activities during the announced weekend hours, so visiting the Fishers store is the direct way to view items and the event setup.

Next step: attend the Ikea Fishers event during the announced weekend hours (10 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday) at 11400 Ikea Way, or contact the store for availability and details. WISH-TV is the source for these details.
