Ascension St. Vincent to close Carmel sports performance office Oct. 30, 2026 as services shift to OrthoIndy partnership

Ascension St. Vincent announced its Sports Performance office at Clay Terrace in Carmel (14455 Clay Terrace Blvd.) will close on Oct. 30, 2026, as the health system transitions services through a new partnership with orthopedic practice OrthoIndy. Ascension St. Vincent said its Sports Performance office at Clay Terrace, 14455 Clay Terrace Blvd. in Carmel, will close on 2026-10-30 as the health system moves to a partnership with orthopedic practice OrthoIndy.

Ascension said it will work to maintain continuity of care, fulfill existing commitments to area schools and contracted partners, and provide transition opportunities for some affected associates. The Clay Terrace location opened in 2013 and its staff included trainers, sports physicians, sports psychologists, dietitians and rehab specialists. Ascension did not provide numbers on expected job losses or where services will be offered under the partnership; Clay Terrace owner Hines Global Income Trust did not respond to requests for comment.
