Avon and Brownsburg high school tennis complexes win USTA Outstanding Facility Awards; Brownsburg coach honored

The Avon High School Tennis Center and the Brownsburg High School Tennis Complex were named among 41 recipients of the USTA’s 2026 Outstanding Facility Awards; Brownsburg coach Spencer Fields received a 35 x 35 President’s Impact Award after organizing the Indiana Hardcourt Championships in August 2026 that brought players, officials and fans to Brownsburg.

Avon High School Tennis Center and the Brownsburg High School Tennis Complex were included among 41 winners of the USTA’s 2026 Outstanding Facility Awards, which recognize excellence in the construction or renovation of tennis facilities. The recipients were honored at an awards reception held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York as part of the 2026 US Open.

The two Hendricks County facilities were among three Indiana complexes recognized; a Muncie facility was the other Indiana recipient cited in the announcement.
