Indiana wins IBI Ag’s North American HQ, bringing farm-focused biotech management and trials to state
Israeli ag-biotech IBI Ag will locate its North American headquarters in Indiana, the first corporate partner under the Iron Nation–Indiana initiative, the governor announced. The HQ will coordinate U.S. field trials, regulatory work and partnerships as the company advances AI-driven bioinsecticides toward commercial release.
Governor Mike Braun announced that Israeli ag-biotech firm IBI Ag will move its North American headquarters to Indiana as the first corporate entry under the Iron Nation–Indiana program, a $60 million economic development effort. IBI Ag develops next-generation bioinsecticides using artificial intelligence, protein engineering and validated biological targets. The Indiana hub is planned to serve as the company’s U.S. management center, overseeing field trials, regulatory affairs and strategic partnerships while preparing products for market pending federal approvals.
The company already collaborates with Indianapolis-based Corteva Agriscience and, according to Indiana Secretary of Commerce Chuck Goodrich, has placed an Indiana-based executive on its leadership team. IBI Ag says it will build out local capabilities across executive management, regulatory affairs and commercial operations and deepen research ties with state academic institutions, signaling a stated commitment to operational roots within Indiana’s life-sciences ecosystem.
