Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) will hold a Drive the Bus hiring event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at the WWS Transportation Center, 17900 Towne Road. Prospective drivers may get behind the wheel and drive around the Transportation Center lot alongside the WWS training team. No prior school bus experience is required; WWS said it provides paid training and staff will be available to answer questions and accept on-site applications.
WWS Director of Transportation Michael Reinhardt was quoted saying the event offers people a chance to try driving in a comfortable environment, meet the team and see if the role is a good fit.
