Carmel in brief — September 8, 2026

Community Health Network has opened a new clinic at its MD Anderson Cancer Center – North in Carmel to evaluate and test patients for inherited risks tied to blood cancers. The clinic will be led by Dr. Zachary Wolfe and, the article says, is the first such service offered by an Indiana health system.

Carmel-based MBX Biosciences names Jeff Held as chief legal officer

Brownsburg Postal Center International to close facility, terminating 151 workers

Postal Center International, Inc. notified officials that its Brownsburg mailing facility will close permanently before the end of September, and 151 employees will be terminated. Layoffs began Aug. 13 and are scheduled through Sept. 30, per a WARN Act notice.
