The Reporter says INDEX Corporation welcomed more than 180 Hamilton County high school students to its North American headquarters in Noblesville on Oct. 2, 2026 for MFG Day 2026, with stations showing equipment operation, 3D printing and career routes from production to engineering and sales.

The Reporter reported that INDEX Corporation, whose North American headquarters is in Noblesville, welcomed more than 180 Hamilton County high school students to its Noblesville facility on Oct. 2, 2026 for MFG Day 2026. INDEX has hosted MFG Day events at the site since 2019 and describes workforce development as central to its mission.
Students rotated in small groups through stations — including the INDEX MS40-6 multi-spindle machine, a TRAUB TNL12 sliding headstock lathe, toolholder rebuilding, shipping and logistics, and 3D printing — where INDEX team members explained how the equipment operates and what it takes to build, program and service it. The 3D printing station was led by a Fishers High School student currently interning at INDEX. Michael Huggett was quoted saying, “At INDEX, our goal is to help American manufacturers keep jobs here at home and stay globally competitive in the markets where they’re facing the toughest pressure, so we’re not losing manufacturing overseas.”
